GET TO KNOW ME

Let’s Travelle

ABOUT THE BLOGGER

Hi, Hola, Bonjour, Ciao

My name is Casey, and I am attempting to master the art of world travel.

I can’t say that it is a feasible attempt due to the fact that working a full-time job tends to get in the way. I do however, hope to try my absolute best (not that anyone could truly master it). I’m that girl you see reading in the corner of a coffeeshop, drinking a latte, awkwardly avoiding eye contact with anyone who walks by. Introvert would be the fitting word. Although, I do try my best to be more social – New Years resolution (every year). It doesn’t really help that I have a really short attention span either. Most of all, I’m a closet swearing, avid researching, cat loving, travel addict.

WHERE IT OFFICIALLY BEGAN

I have known I wanted to travel the world since the ripe age of 16. Fortunately for me, I grew up near Vancouver, British Columbia. There are so many places to explore around here, it is a beautiful place to live! At 22, I had the opportunity to go with my best friend’s family to Disneyland for the first time. It was absolutely amazing. It was a relaxing, comfortable vacation… but I needed more. I needed something different, more adventure. This is when you could say that it happened. I became consumed with what you may call wanderlust or that I was bit by the travel bug.

After my trip to California, a year-ish later, I made it my ultimate goal to go somewhere that had plagued my dreams for years. Europe. After many, many months, of pestering my extremely patient boyfriend, we caught a flight deal to Ireland for September 2015. From there, I know my obsession with travel has only increased knowing there is so much more out there to explore.

So please, follow me on my adventures [and my struggles] while I fully submerse myself in this amazing thing we call travel.
